Hi — I'm Kendra, a software engineer, a designer, and—most importantly—a mom. Based right here on the Central Coast, my journey into the world of 3D printing started at the intersection of my two greatest passions: the precision of technology and the soul of artistic design.
What began as a way to create unique, high-quality items for my own family quickly evolved into SLO 3D Co. My home is often a whirlwind of activity, shared with my kids and our two dogs. It's this family-first environment that inspires everything I make. Whether I'm designing a custom character or a whimsical articulated toy, I create with the intention that these items should bring joy, withstand real-world play, and spark curiosity.
With a professional background in software engineering, I find a unique kind of magic in the "build." I love the technical challenge of calibrating a complex print and the artistic freedom of selecting the perfect matte filament or high-contrast texture. To me, a 3D printer isn't just a machine; it's a bridge between a digital spark and a physical object you can hold in your hand.
